President
Bill Coots Jr. is the owner of B&B Metals. He has worked in the railroad industry for over 25 years to develop the name and reputation that is B&B Metals today. Starting out in the scrap industry he quickly become the “go to guy” when projects needed to be finished quickly. His hard work and dedication to detail made him stand out among the rest. He holds over a dozen US and International Patents that are still being used among the railroads to increase production while lowering safety concerns. Bill Coots Jr. has started this company from the ground up and still continues to invent new products to further the advancement of the company today.

General Manager
Jude McGuire graduated from NCATC in 2000, and then worked in a custom fabrication shop before joining the B&B Metals team in 2003. He was an integral part in the development of the first tie plate distribution system B&B produced, and has continued to contribute to the ever evolving system since. As General Manager his current responsibilities include overseeing shop operations, purchasing, scheduling, sales, as well as managing our 40 plus employees.

Ast. General Manager
Bill Coots III – He started in the shop working on general maintenance and repair. Learning how the systems operated. He then moved into research and development where he assisted in turning out some of the latest products that we have to offer. Showing great leadership and dedication while working on large projects he was promoted to assistant general manager in 2012. He has also been our safety coordinator since 2009 and keeps our employees compliant with all safety requirements and certifications. His duties include interviewing, hiring, log book records, marketing, an assisting Jude with the daily operations of the company.

Senior office Administrator
Kim Ray joined B&B Metals in April of 2014 as Senior Office Administrator. She is in charge of the daily office duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. She has prior experience at our local county attorney’s office as well as in the real estate industry. She is excited about her new career with B&B Metals and is dedicated to this company and its success.
